I captured this photo on a backpacking trip to Rae Lakes in the Eastern Sierras. Painted Lady, the large prominence in the background was bathed in an ethereal pink light as I had arrived at camp for the night. Lucky I was able to set up the camera and get a couple of shots before the light faded away.
